Jacques Bermon Webster II, born on April 30 1991, is popularly known as Travis Scott (previously Travi$ Scott) who is an American musician, rapper and songwriter. His stage name is a amalgamation of the name of his favorite uncle and the initials of Kid Cudi (whose real identity is Scott Mescudi), Scott signed his debut major-label contract in 2012, with Epic Records. He signed a joint-recording agreement with Epic and T.I. His Grand Hustle imprint. Scott's debut album Owl Pharaoh was self-released on his own in the year 2013. The mixtape was then followed by Days Before Rodeo in 2014. Rodeo (2015) was the release of his debut studio album. The single that became his biggest hit, "Antidote", was featured on it. The album that followed, Birds in the Trap Sing McKnight (2016) earned him the first Billboard 200 top 100 album. In the next year, Scott released a collaborative album featuring Quavo entitled Huncho Jack, Jack Huncho under the band name Huncho Jack.In 2018 his third album, Astroworld, was released to great acclaim. It also featured his debut Billboard Hot 100 number one single, "Sicko Mode" (featuring Drake). In late 2019, Scott's label Cactus Jack Records released the compilation album JackBoys, which topped the Billboard 200. His single, "Franchise", featuring Young Thug (featuring M.I.A. ), was released. Scott became the first Hot 100 artist to have three songs reach the top of the list within a mere decade in 2020.
