Milana Aleksandrovna Vayntrub - American actor, comedian and activist She was born in Soviet Union to Jewish immigrants and started her career shortly after her move from Israel to the United States as a child actress. From 2013 to 2016 she worked as the AT&T salesperson Lily Adams, and since 2020, she has been the AT&T saleswoman Lily Adams. She gained fame for her role in television commercials. She was a regular host of the Yahoo! Screen science fiction comedy Other Space (2015) and played a part in a recurring role on the NBC drama This Is Us (2016-2017). Vayntrub was originally selected to voice the character Squirrel Girls in Marvel Rising's unaired pilot for New Warriors in 2018, was voiced in that role since. Vayntrub was Jewish born in Tashkent, Uzbek Soviet Socialist Republic. Her parents, who were at the age of two, came to America as refugees from antisemitism. They moved to West Hollywood. She began performing in Mattel Barbie commercials at the age of five, due in part to the family's financial troubles. Vayntrub attended Beverly Hills High School briefly however she quit in her sophomore year. She then obtained a GED, and earned an Associate of Arts degree in Communication at the University of California, San Diego. She studied improv with the Upright Citizens Brigade.
